Now Personal Background Statement My name is Daniel Musa Ali Jana, and I have been deeply involved in the field of sports and community development. From 2012 to 2017, I worked with the Ministry of Sports in Sudan, where I gained valuable experience in sports administration, youth engagement, and social mobilization through athletics. However, when the war erupted in Sudan, I was forced to relocate to my original home in South Kordofan, in the Nuba Mountains region. Currently, I am based here, where thousands of Muslim communities have arrived as internally displaced persons (IDPs) due to the ongoing conflict. Seeing their suffering and social disconnection inspired me to use sports as a strategic bridge to reach out to these communities—promoting unity, healing, and peaceful coexistence. This vision led to the formation of an initiative under the GIVE HOPE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, which aims to use sports as a tool for community transformation, dialogue, and hope. Attached is the project proposal outlining this initiative in detail.
