How do we handle sudden changes ?? Brandon Graham is a 15 year vet for the Philadelphia Eagles. He has played more games for the Eagles than anyone in their history. He is the captain of the squad and highly regarded for his play on the field and his character off the field. On Sunday Night BG (as he is called) was having a great game with a sack and multiple QB hits and good plays. Late in the game he ended suffering what turned out to be a series ending injury and since he is in his 15th season might be a career ending injury. Now why I am sharing it here. Well Tuesday morning I was listening to the local sports radio and they were interviewing BG. This was two days after all this and BG was emotional but kept saying trusting God has a plan for me . He repeated this over and over every time He got emotional and that would lead him to say I am going to be here for my teammates . They need my energy , they need my leadership they need my…. Yes I am hurting but Gods got me and I am trusting him. When things change out of our control and issues happen; job loss, health issues, relationship issues ..: It’s ok to cry, it’s ok to be emotional in the moment , as we don’t know why this is all happening. But we do know whom got us, whom loves us, who me will never leave or forsake us. Which we continue to trust God and we can continue doing what we are called to do . I was inspired yesterday and just reminded us how much we are not in control but he is and I am good with that!!
